EVP's .......................EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomenom. This is the term used by paranormal investigators to label voices and sounds that are found on audio recording devices during evidence review that was not heard by the human ear during the actual recording. It is believed that spirits communicate with us on a frequency so low that it is not normally heard with the human ear, but certain audio recording devices are so sensitive that they are able to pick up these low frequencies and convert them into an audible sound that we can hear. Most EVP's are caught within the whitenoise level of an audio recording. The whitenoise level is the faint hissing sound that you hear in the background of an audio recording, but sometimes a spirits energy is strong enough to be picked up by the human ear. This is known as a VP or Voice Phenomenom. Using digital and analog voice recorders is a great way to conclude rather a given location is paranormally active. |
